How to Develop CD-ROMs for Diabetes Education: Exemplar “Reproductive-Health Education and Awareness of Diabetes in Youth for Girls” (READY-Girls)

Read-only memory compact discs can provide self-instructional standardized educational interventions to improve diabetes self-management in a variety of settings. This article describes the steps involved in developing this sort of interactive health technology program and recommendations based on lessons learned from a multimedia program called “Reproductive-health Education and Awareness of Diabetes in Youth for Girls (READY-Girls).”
